Welcome to Battle Rhythm ("Battle Rhythm," "we," "us," "our") — a combat-sports and fitness training journal and coaching tool available at battlerhythm.app. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are the agreement between you and Battle Rhythm for your use of the app, the coach portal, and related services (together, the "Service"). We keep it plain-English on purpose. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create your own account, or at least 13 with the consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or coach who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If you use the Service on behalf of a gym or organization, you represent that you're authorized to accept these Terms for it.
To keep the Service safe and useful for everyone, you agree not to:
Messaging includes tools to block another user and to report behavior to us. We may review reports and remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Battle Rhythm is a journaling and organization tool, not a medical, health, or professional coaching service. Combat sports and physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. You are solely responsible for training safely and within your ability, under proper supervision.
The Service is currently in an early "beta" phase. That means it is still being built and improved, features may change or be removed, and — while we keep rotating backups — you should not rely on it as your only record of important information. We recommend using the in-app export to keep your own copy.
We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we'll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
The athlete app is currently free. Coach and gym features are free during the beta; if we introduce paid plans later, we'll make the terms clear before you're charged and you'll be able to choose whether to subscribe.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or data loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Battle Rhythm and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any injury connected with physical training. To the extent any liability is not excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the past 12 months or US $50.
You can stop using the Service and permanently delete your account and data at any time from within the app ("delete account"). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
